RALEIGH, N.C., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- MedThink Communications, an innovator in medical communications, brand development, advertising and public relations, has hired two executives to serve the company's growing client base in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Steven Palmisano, the new vice president of medical communications, will manage the account services team as it integrates creative thinking and scientific acumen to produce compelling deliverables for MedThink clients.
Palmisano brings 27 years of pharmaceutical experience communicating about all phases of preclinical and clinical development. His skills and knowledge will build upon the existing expertise of eight MedThink scientists to provide strategy, direction and innovation to clients.
"Steve's broad range of expertise in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, infectious and respiratory diseases, vaccines, osteoporosis and diagnostic imaging will add significant value to our pharmaceutical partners," said Angie Miller, former vice president of medical communications.
Miller assumes a new role this month as senior vice president, a position designed to diversify and expand the young company's clientele.
Additionally, MedThink has hired Syed Moinuddin as account director to support clients' needs in advertising, promotion and brand development. A pharmacist with an MBA, Syed will draw upon his extensive knowledge of drugs and the pharmaceutical industry in order to provide a thorough analysis and strategic recommendations to clients, said Walt Clarke, partner at MedThink.
