Prominent Appointees to Advocate for Healthcare Intelligence, Life-Long Patient Education and Physician Communication

Mark Vanelli, MD, MHS, MBA, and George T. Zahorian III, DO, FACOS, join the board as medical advisors to help drive MedTera’s ongoing campaign to leverage innovative, educational dimensional tools to promote healthcare intelligence among patients, physicians and pharmaceutical companies.

He brings more than a decade of experience developing support, compliance and adherence programs for patients with both chronic mental and medical illnesses. Previously the Chief Medical Officer at Adheris, Inc., Vanelli is also a diplomat for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his medical degree from Brown University, his MBA from Boston University and conducted his psychiatry residency at Cambridge Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

A highly esteemed doctor in osteopathic medicine with a top practice in Pennsylvania, Zahorian is a thought leader in the creation of educational tools to promote medication compliance and improve clinical outcomes. He has worked with many of the major pharmaceutical companies to develop peer-to-peer communication programs that connect industry thought leaders with physicians across the country. Zahorian has held medical executive positions at Clark-O’Neill, IMS Health, SYNAVANT Inc. and Dendrite International. He received his doctorate degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
