Leaders from the First Health Insurance Exchange, Jon Kingsdale and Patrick Holland, Form Alliance with Oliver Wyman

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Two central figures in U.S. healthcare reform have formed a strategic alliance with the consulting firm Oliver Wyman. Jon Kingsdale and Patrick Holland were founding executives in the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority, the Massachusetts health insurance exchange that was a key model for the Affordable Care Act of 2010, helping to define national healthcare reform. At Oliver Wyman, they will serve as strategic advisors and subject matter experts for clients of the firm's Health & Life Sciences practice, offering their deep perspective on reform, exchanges, and the current state and federal legislative environment.

“Jon and Patrick have been at the forefront of the national reform debate and led the charge into the world of exchanges,” says Mike Weissel, who leads Oliver Wyman’s Health & Life Sciences practice. “Their knowledge and practical expertise are a natural complement to Oliver Wyman’s deep analytic and strategic capabilities. Together, we can offer valuable perspectives on how to make tough choices and prepare for the future of healthcare.”

Questions or interest in the reform and exchange-related capabilities from this alliance should be directed to Howard Lapsley at [email protected].
