J.D. Power and Associates Reports: HealthPartners shows positive gains in overall member experience

HealthPartners ranks second overall in the Minnesota-Wisconsin region

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HealthPartners performed above the regional average for overall experience and for all seven factors used to measure member experience, making significant improvements in overall member experience, information and communication, and provider choice according to J.D. Power and Associates 2012 U.S. Member Health Plan Study. HealthPartners ranked second overall in the region.

The study measures overall member experience based on seven factors: coverage and benefits, provider choice, information and communication, claims processing, statements, customer service and approval process. The study includes eight commercial health plans in the Minnesota-Wisconsin region.

HealthPartners ranks above the regional average in overall member experience and performed well in the claims processing factor among the largest commercial health plans in the Minnesota-Wisconsin region.

HealthPartners received 724 points, 33 points higher than the regional average of 691. J.D. Power and Associates surveyed more than 32,000 members of commercial health plans in through an online survey.
