Expands base in the Pacific Northwest
SHELTON, Conn., Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- iMedX Inc., a leading healthcare software and services company, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Greenlight Transcription, LLC. ("Greenlight"). With this acquisition, iMedX adds Greenlight's many clinics in Oregon to its customer base.
The acquisition of Greenlight expands iMedX's base of clinic customers, increases penetration in the Pacific Northwest, and establishes a customer service presence in Oregon. Greenlight's customers will have access to advanced technology through iMedX's cloud-based healthcare information solutions – TurboScribe® document management and TurboRx® stand-alone electronic prescribing. Additionally iMedX's TurboDox™ - a blend of technology and process - will facilitate physician usage of EHRs through dictation, scanning, and abstraction, and will help doctors remain productive through EHR implementation and beyond..
Venkat Sharma, iMedX's President and CEO, along with the current iMedX management team, will lead the combined companies. Greenlight's current customer service team will continue to support and grow its loyal customer base as Greenlight's customers are integrated into iMedX.
