Hospital prices hold steady in May

Overall hospital prices remained unchanged in May and increased 1.8 percent from May 2012, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Producer Price Indices, reported AHA News Now. When looking at subgroups, prices for general medical and surgical hospitals increased 0.1 percent last month, and were 1.8 percent higher than the same time last year.
