Healthcare providers have an obligation to try new payment models that can help lower the growth rate of health spending, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Monday at the AcademyHealth National Health Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.

Sebelius urged providers to adopt changes to payment models and care delivery faster. She also called on governors to expand Medicaid in their states. Article
