Henry Ford Health System doubles its net income; CFO heads back to jail for probation violation;

> A 2.6 percent increase in patient admissions helped Detroit's Henry Ford Health System virtually double its 2010 net income. The six-hospital system reported $60.1 million net income in 2010 as compared to $30.4 million in 2009. Overall, Henry Ford reported total revenues of $4.18 billion in 2010, an increase of $115 million from the $3.96 billion total revenues.  Most hospitals in the area had a 0.9 percent decrease. Press release

> William Roe can't seem to stay out of trouble. The former Danbury (Conn.) Hospital CFO is going back to jail after violating his probation by sending a forged email. He is facing a 20-year sentence and a $1 million fine for wire fraud related to charges that he stole money from the hospital. - Article
