Healthland opens 2012 with over 50 rural hospitals now meeting Meaningful Use
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Healthland, America's market leader of healthcare information technology solutions for rural hospitals, today announced new additions to its long list of clients certified for Stage 1 Meaningful Use. Healthland reports that over 50 of its clients now meet Stage 1 Meaningful Use – many of which have been the first to reach the milestone in their respective states including Minnesota, North Dakota, Louisiana and Wyoming.

As part of the Stage 1 Meaningful Use attestation, these healthcare providers will now receive funding under the Medicare EHR Incentive Program. This is crucial for rural hospitals with limited resources.
