California leads the nation in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), but what does this mean for hospitals and providers as the groundbreaking law goes into effect in 2014? Children's Hospital Los Angeles president and chief executive officer, Richard D. Cordova, FACHE, will address the possibilities as the featured guest at the Dean’s Executive Leadership Series lecture event on Thursday, January 16, 2014, announced Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. Cordova will lead a panel discussion, moderated by Dean Linda A. Livingstone, and featuring Dr. Arthur M. Southam, Executive Vice President, Health Plan Operations, Kaiser Permanente, and Dr. David T. Feinberg, Chief Executive Officer and Hospital System Associate Vice Chancellor, UCLA Medical Center.

The event will be held at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles’ John Stauffer Conference Center, 4650 Sunset Blvd, in Los Angeles, with a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. and followed by the main program at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $20. RSVP:
