GlobalMed® - the worldwide leader in healthcare delivery systems – welcomes the new additions to the Healthcare’s Hottest Companies List for 2013. Twenty-five of the 40 companies are newcomers.

2013 marks the second year that GlobalMed has been ranked in the top three by Magazine. The Arizona-based healthcare technology company is proud to return to this year’s top 10, and to be in the company of notable firms such as ScribeAmerica, Independent Living Systems and Solstice. The program focuses on suppliers, hospitals/hospital systems, physician group practices and payers/insurers.

Companies are ranked by compound annual revenue growth from 2007 to 2012. Editors of the magazine note that it requires something special to attain double-digit or better gains for five consecutive years in an era when the healthcare industry is no longer growing faster than the rest of the economy.

GlobalMed Founder and Managing Director, Joel E. Barthelemy, credits the company’s loyal customers and partners, as well as the dedication and imagination of GlobalMed staff for the company’s remarkable success. “We are incredibly grateful to our customers and partners for their commitment to transforming healthcare delivery for all. Their continued devotion to improving access to care is making a difference in patient outcomes every day. Our GlobalMed team is certainly inspired by their efforts and it shows in the quality of our products, in the training we offer and in the level of support we provide.”

To be eligible for consideration on Healthcare’s Hottest, companies must be headquartered in the United States; have at least $20 million in revenue for 2012; and have been in business for five years or more.
