FL cancels Professional Group Homes contract

Professional Group Homes, which operates 10 homes in Florida for the mentally disabled, has lost its contracts with the state's Agency for Persons with Disabilities. The Agency is shutting down the homes in response to four patient deaths within the last eight months, unclean living conditions, overworked employees and poor record-keeping. It is not clear whether Professional Group Homes provided poor care leading to the four resident's deaths, but the loss of the state's contract comes after a long string of complaints against the company.
