Sixth annual forum of learning and interaction beneficial for clients
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- e-MDs, an industry leader in the development and implementation of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management (PM) solutions, recently held their 6th annual User Conference and Symposium (UCS10). The conference, held July 22-24 at the AT&T Center in Austin, TX, sold out early. e-MDs hosted attendees from more than 40 states, including Alaska & Puerto Rico. Christopher Chute, MD, PhD, provided a keynote address on trends in health information technology.

This year's conference provided users with detailed instructions on how to achieve Meaningful Use through use of the e-MDs EHR and reporting capabilities. UCS10 events also focused on other current healthcare information technology topics, including quality of care improvements, clinical informatics, HIT Policy, patient safety, HIPAA security, practice optimization, coding audit protection, health information exchange, and advanced uses of technology.
A number of e-MDs clients also delivered presentations describing how they are able to use the software in effecting clinical and business process improvements that have improved their practice operations.
