DR. RAYMOND FABIUS JOINS THOMSON REUTERS AS CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Ann Arbor, MI  January 7, 2010 - Thomson Reuters today announced that Raymond Fabius, M.D., FAAP, FACPE, has been appointed Chief Medical Officer of the company's Healthcare & Science business.

As chief medical officer, Dr. Fabius will develop and deepen relationships with customers, advise on product development, and provide counsel to Thomson Reuters on business strategy and medical issues.

Dr. Fabius is a physician executive who has served in leadership roles in academia, private practice, the health insurance industry, eHealth, corporate health initiatives, and provider-vendor organizations. He has held executive positions with Cigna Corp., U.S. Healthcare, Aetna, and GE. Most recently, he was strategic advisor to the president of Walgreen's Health & Wellness Division.

Dr. Fabius has written and lectured extensively on building cultures of health, health and productivity, quality management, population health, healthcare utilization management, credentialing and network development, and the matrix of healthcare purchasers, payers, providers and patients/employees.

He also has a track record of entrepreneurial success, serving as president and chief medical officer for i-TRAX (AMEX:DMX) prior to its successful sale to Walgreens in 2008. I-TRAX was the parent company of CHD Meridian Healthcare, a leading provider of worksite healthcare centers for large employers.

Board certified in pediatrics and medical management and a distinguished fellow of the American College of Physician Executives, Dr. Fabius received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College (now the Drexel College of Medicine) and completed his residency at the USC affiliate - Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
