First Pulmonologist in Southeastern Idaho Returns to Help Relieve and Treat Respiratory Disorders for Area Residents

Dr. David Shrader Joins Bingham Memorial Hospital’s World-Class Medical Team

Bingham Memorial Hospital today announced the addition of Dr. David Shrader, Pulmonologist, to its world-class medical team. Dr. Shrader is a fellowship-trained physician with unique experience, clinical maturity and expertise. With the rare skill set of a Pulmonologist, Dr. Shrader specializes in treating patients with challenging respiratory diseases and disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), chronic bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, occupationally related breathing disorders and inflammatory lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis and sleep related breathing disorders.

“Bingham Memorial’s goal is to identify and assemble the most qualified group of physicians in the country for the benefit of our patients and Dr. Shrader is another example of that goal in action,” said Louis Kraml, CEO of Bingham Memorial Hospital. “Looking beyond his impressive credentials, Dr. Shrader has exceptional concern and respect for each one of his patients. Dr. Shrader is more than just a physician, he is an expert caregiver determined to thoroughly treat and examine each patient.”

Dr. Shrader received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in chemistry, and then continued his education at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency and internship going on to a fellowship at the University of Washington. Upon completing his fellowship Dr. Shrader moved to Idaho Falls, becoming the first Pulmonologist in Southeastern Idaho.
