DocuSign Leads Initiative with Birst, InsideView, Salesforce.com Foundation and Silverpop to Raise $100,000 Towards Constr

“eSigning for Dollars” Philanthropic Program to be Held at Dreamforce 2010

Program Sponsors to Donate $5 for Every Attendee Using the DocuSign Electronic Signature Service

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DocuSign® (www.docusign.com), the global leader in electronic signatures, announced a philanthropic partnership with BirstTM, InsideView®, Salesforce.com Foundation and Silverpop® to raise $100,000 towards construction of the new UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. These philanthropic sponsors of the eSigning for Dollars program will donate five dollars for every Dreamforce 2010 attendee providing an electronic signature at booth #1215 on December 6 - 9, 2010 in the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center.

DocuSign and program partners, Birst, InsideView, Salesforce.com Foundation and Silverpop, have together pledged up to $100,000 by each providing a dollar for every Dreamforce attendee electronic signature. Attendees participate by visiting booth #1215 and quickly create a DocuSign electronic signature triggering a five-dollar donation to the new UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Attendees can also view Birst business intelligence dashboards providing real-time donation updates during the conference and will receive a donation email confirmation through Silverpop following Dreamforce.

eSigning for Dollars sponsors plan to collect 20,000 signatures to reach their $100,000 goal for construction of the new UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay, part of a 289-bed integrated hospital complex for children, women and cancer patients. Upon completion in 2014, the 183-bed children’s hospital will set a new world-class standard for patient- and family-centered health care, safety, sustainability and translational medicine.

Designed specifically for children and their families, the new hospital will offer urgent and emergency care, primary care, and specialty outpatient services; and, with 45 more beds than the current hospital and an on-site helipad, there will be room to grow and serve more critically ill children who otherwise might not have access to lifesaving care. In addition, the proximity of the hospital site to UCSF’s biomedical research campus will speed the application of laboratory discoveries to the treatment of patients worldwide.

“DocuSign and our philanthropic partners strongly believe in giving back to the community. This fundraising event for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital demonstrates the strength of our commitment by providing Dreamforce attendees the opportunity to join us in supporting this great cause,” said Steve King, president and CEO of DocuSign. “We are proud to broaden awareness and financially support the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.”
