Community hospital chooses ASP delivery of EHR applications as cost-effective meaningful use solution
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Dallas Medical Center has selected Healthcare Management Systems Inc. (HMS) to provide the 150-bed community hospital in Dallas, Texas, with a full suite of integrated electronic health record (EHR) applications. HMS will remotely host and manage the applications for Dallas Medical Center via its wholly owned subsidiary HMS Direct, one of the largest providers of managed solutions in the industry.
Raji Kumar, chief executive officer of Dallas Medical Center, said the facility’s choice was based on knowing that HMS specializes in community hospitals and offered the best functionality and value for a comprehensive system delivered via ASP (application service provider).
