Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute Announces Call for Entries for 2015 International Art Show

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute invites artists with disabilities anywhere in the world to submit artwork for the 52 International Art Show, April 30 – May 22, 2015. All artists with a disability that causes a physical or mental impairment of one or more major life activities are eligible.

Artists can submit entries now through January 30, 2015 online at . All art must be the original work of the artist and created within the past five years. Previous submissions to the International Art Show are not accepted. Submissions are limited to two entries per artist and all artwork must be for sale.

Artwork is reviewed in six categories: Graphics, Mixed Media, Oils and Acrylics, Photography, Sculpture, and Watercolor. A panel of jurors selects first, second, third and honorable mention in each category in addition to a Best in Show. Encouragement Awards, sponsored by donors, are also awarded to selected artists.

The International Art Show opens April 30 and closes May 22, 2015. An opening reception is set for Thursday, April 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. All artists and their guests are welcome and it is open and free to the public. Other important dates are:

The Courage Kenny International Art Show is now in its 52nd year. It has grown from a forum for people with disabilities to sell their artwork to a major showcase of fine art.
