Consumer Health Company Cognovant Expands Business Development Division with New EVP Hire Andrew Lambert

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognovant, Inc. (www.cognovant.com), a consumer health company that specializes in mobile personal health record technology, recently hired Andrew Lambert to oversee and direct the company's new business development.

In his new role as EVP Business Development, Lambert will leverage executive leadership experience with business development activities. He brings broad healthcare and business experience to his new role, including a strong clinical informatics and analytics background. Lambert also has more than 30 years of healthcare executive leadership experience with a successful track record of growing revenue across multiple venues and sizes of organizations.

Lambert will draw upon his previous experience to identify and pursue new business development opportunities for Cognovant and, more specifically, PocketHealth (http://cognovant.com/mobile-health-app-latest-pockethealth-update-now-live/), the company's personal mobile health record app that's available for iOS and Android.
