Community Physicians of Indiana Joins Anceta, Selects Humedica MinedShare® for Its Unified Clinical Analytic Solutio

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Community Physicians of Indiana, a leading not-for-profit integrated physician group, has joined the Anceta Collaborative Data Warehouse and selected Humedica MinedShare® to be its clinical analytic solution for population health management. Humedica MinedShare® will serve as a unified solution across all of Community Physicians of Indiana’s practice locations statewide and enable the group to have dashboards to consistently track clinical, operational and financial performance.

“The ability to aggregate, normalize, and compare clinical EHR data, as opposed to just claims based data, from our different sites was the primary reason for selecting Humedica’s clinical analytics solution,” said Patrick E. Rankin, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Community Physicians of Indiana. “Humedica MinedShare® will allow us not only to identify clinical best practices and best practitioners within our medical group, but also identify areas where we can improve our performance when compared to other Anceta participants,” Rankin added.

"As a leading provider of health care, Community Physicians of Indiana is taking the next step toward improving health care management and performance of a newly-formed multi-specialty physician group,” said A.G. Breitenstein, J.D., M.P.H., Vice President & General Manager, Provider Markets, Humedica. “Accessible clinical and financial data will enable Community Physicians of Indiana to drive the practice of value based medicine and ensure that the group is prepared for the fast-changing reimbursement environment,” said Breitenstein.

Community Physicians of Indiana is a member of the American Medical Association Group and a participant in Anceta – AMGA’s Collaborative Data Warehouse developed in partnership with Humedica. “We are excited to have CPI joining a growing list of leading medical groups from across the nation in the Anceta Collaborative Data Warehouse. Membership facilitates access to rich, comparative clinical data and interaction with peers about key drivers of performance and patient outcomes,” said John Cuddeback, M.D., Ph.D. Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Anceta. “We are looking forward to this exciting opportunity to collaborate with other Anceta members, learn and share knowledge to enhance care quality, safety and cost-effectiveness,” said Rankin.
