Pam Klugman, vice president and chief operating officer of , will discuss provider collaboration in the Medicare Advantage marketplace at the third annual Medical Management in Medicare Advantage Summit, August 13-15, in San Diego. With a theme wrapped around payer/provider collaborative care, the three-day conference is designed to provide the “next generation” of medical management tactics that health plans, hospitals and physician groups require in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Klugman brings to her presentation more thantwo decades of healthcare experience, specifically in the area of Medicare in both the health plan and provider arenas. Her remarks will explore strategies and tactics for how health plan/provider collaboration can close care gaps. Klugman will also share with attendees case studies that resulted in improved outcomes for health plans, providers and patients.

Prior to co-founding Clear Vision Information Systems, Klugman was manager of information technology, Medicare revenue improvement and recovery, for Blue Shield of California. She has also held leadership roles in the reimbursement/financial areas at Blue Cross of California, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Northridge Hospital.
