CareView Communications, Inc. ("CareView" or the "Company") (OTCQB: CRVW), an information technology provider to the healthcare industry, announced today the execution of a hospital agreement with Monrovia Memorial Hospital in southern California ("Monrovia Memorial"). Monrovia Memorial is a general acute care hospital specializing in the treatment of medically complex patients and is thereby designated by Medicare as a 'long term acute care provider.' Monrovia Memorial is uniquely able to attend to short term patients (including spine and general orthopedics) in addition to those whose illnesses require a longer hospital stay.

"We recently completed a total renovation of our hospital. We believe the installation of the CareView System™ will help us maintain our vision of being a hospital where technology meets compassion and patients always come first," stated Ron Kupferstein, Chief Executive Officer of Monrovia Memorial.

"The signing of Monrovia Memorial strengthens CareView's outreach in the southern California marketplace," stated Samuel A. Greco, the Company's Chief Executive Officer. "We have had excellent results from our California customer base; Little Company of Mary Hospital (Providence Health and Services) has expanded the number of rooms using our technology at its Torrance location and a number of well-respected southern California hospitals are currently looking to adopt the CareView System. Over the past couple of years, our CareView System has proven very successful based on the positive feedback we have received from our participating hospital groups. It is now time for us to demonstrate that our technology is a necessary component in every hospital's plan to deliver quality healthcare to patients in the safest environment possible."

The Company currently has systems installed in several hospitals in southern California and intends to begin an aggressive marketing campaign in September to broaden its base in that region.

CareView has created a proprietary high-speed data network system that can be deployed throughout a healthcare facility using the existing cable television infrastructure. This network supports CareView’s Room Control Platform and complementary suite of software applications designed to streamline workflow and improve value-added services offered to customers. Real-time bedside monitoring and point-of-care video monitoring and recording improve patient safety, efficiency while limiting liability, and entertainment packages and education enhance quality of stay. This technology may also act as an interface gateway for other software systems and medical devices moving forward. CareView is dedicated to working with all types of hospitals, nursing homes, adult living centers and selected outpatient care facilities domestically and internationally. Corporate offices are located at 405 State Highway 121 Bypass, Suite B-240, Lewisville, TX 75067. More information about the Company is available on the Company’s website at .
