Another 17 Hospitals Achieve Stage 1 Meaningful Use with Certified EHR from Healthcare Management Systems

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Healthcare Management Systems Inc.® (HMS) today announced that 17 more hospitals have met Stage 1 meaningful use criteria using the certified electronic health record (EHR) from HMS. By successfully attesting for Stage 1 meaningful use with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), hospitals can receive payments from EHR incentive programs.

The HMS EHR offers advanced reporting tools throughout the attestation process that help hospitals assess current capabilities and more efficiently achieve meaningful use.
