JACKSON, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Anesthesia Business Consultants, LLC (ABC) is excited to announce the first public demonstration of ePREOP at the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Annual Meeting in San Diego held from October 16th through the 20th. ePREOP delivers a revolutionary new software that promises to improve outcomes and save healthcare dollars while securing anesthesia groups’ standing at their contracting facility. With over 13,000 attendees expected at the 2010 ASA Annual Meeting, ABC anticipates the joint launch will allow ePREOP to hit the ground running.
The ASA is the world’s most comprehensive anesthesia-specific educational event, making this the ideal venue for the first public unveiling of the ePREOP Integrated Preoperative Services platform. The exhibits will open on October 16th at 9:00 am. Together in booth number 2025, ABC and ePREOP will be releasing this groundbreaking software to the anesthesia community. ePREOP’s web based platform was designed specifically to bridge the gap between the physician office and surgery location. ePREOP integrates with various electronic health records like Google Health, Allscripts, and HealthVault. The software analyzes hundreds of thousands of data points and delivers preoperative clinical guidelines. These recommendations can significantly improve postoperative outcomes, decrease case delays and cancellations, and save money by reducing wasteful spending. ePREOP allows for a seamless transfer of patient data between parties and eliminates duplicate patient interviews. When an existing EHR is not in use, ePREOP provides a stand-alone Preoperative EHR that is accessible from a kiosk, iPad, or home computer. The data is sent directly to the surgical facility along with preoperative testing recommendations and personalized evidence-based patient instructions.
