SALEM, N.H., Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AgaMatrix, Inc. today announced the election of Jeffrey B. Kindler to the company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Kindler, 56, was previously Chairman and CEO of Pfizer Inc. He joined Pfizer in January 2002 as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel. Before joining Pfizer, Mr. Kindler was an executive at McDonald's Corporation, where he served as President of Partner Brands and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Litigation and Legal Policy, at the General Electric Company and, before that, a partner at the Washington D.C. law firm of Williams & Connolly.

Mr. Kindler is a trustee of Tufts University and a member of the board of the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. He serves on the board of a number of privately held health care companies and is a director of Starboard Capital Partners, a Connecticut-based private equity firm. He earned his J.D. from Harvard University, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from Tufts University, summa cum laude.
