March 25, 2011 - AARP Statement in Reaction to Hearing Announcement

In reaction to the announced hearing on April 1, 2011 AARP released the following statement from Spokesperson Drew Nannis:

"AARP has a long-standing and good working relationship with Congress and we look forward to appearing before the Committee on behalf of our millions of members, and the entire 50+ population, on April 1st.

"AARP is committed to transparency, and the hearing will provide us yet another opportunity to answer any questions as we continue to be a champion for the wants and needs of Americans 50-plus."
