To help offset the healthcare cost crisis in a post-Affordable Care Act world, there are three ways providers can slash prices, according to Meredith Rosenthal, Ph.D., associate professor at the Harvard School of Public Health, a presenter at last week's AHIP Institute in Seattle. Price transparency, reference pricing, and new delivery and payment models are viable strategies to cut healthcare costs, she said.
