  • Net revenues increased 2.2 percent to $1.32 billion for Q3 2010 compared to $1.30 billion in Q3 2009
  • Adjusted admissions at UHS acute care hospitals increased 1.6 percent while adjusted patient days increased 1.5 percent in Q3 2010, as compared to Q3 2009.
  • Acute care hospitals provided charity care and uninsured discounts, based on charges at established rates, amounting to $214 million and $169 million during the third quarter
  • UHS expects to complete acquisition of Psychiatric Solutions in November 2010
