The intent of the Healthcare Financial Management Association's (HFMA) ANI Conference is to bring the healthcare finance leaders of the nation together under one roof to discuss the pressing issues in their sector.
And now there's an app for that as well. HFMA is debuting it for the 2011 conference.
The ANI Mobile app is available free for download on the iPhone, Android and Blackberry platforms through their respective app stores. It was designed by CrowdCompass, which designs apps for conferences and other public events.
The ANI app includes the entire conference schedule, a list of exhibitors, and an interactive map of the surrounding area, the conference venues and available shuttle services and timetables. Tapping on specific areas of the map will call up the sessions being held in that area, and the time they are being conducted.
HFMA's Twitter feed is also displayed at the bottom of the app in real time.
"Initial feedback of content presentation and usefulness has been very positive," said HFMA spokesman Jay Keltner.
