  • Net operating revenues totaled $3.3 billion in the third quarter of 2010, up 5.4 percent over the same period in 2009.
  • Net income increased 17.9 percent to $70.4 million, or $0.76 per share (diluted)
  • CYH saw a 3.0 percent decrease in total admissions and a 0.2 percent decrease in total adjusted admissions compared with the Q3 2009.
  • On Oct. 1, 2010, CYH subsidiaries acquired Forum Health, a system of hospitals and other healthcare providers based in Youngstown, Ohio, and Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia.
