Picis chief physician executive Dr. Carlos Nunez takes exception with a recent KLAS report on anesthesia information management systems, in which KLAS said that many current products, including the Picis offering, don't interface well with surgical information systems. Nunez argues that KLAS misuses the words "interfacing" and "integration," and says that modern anesthesia systems really are tightly integrated with surgical records.
