The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT has updated its "dashboard" to provide the public with information regarding the progress that has been made in provider adoption and use of electronic health records. The update adds new national, state and local information to the website, including the percentage of pharmacies that now are able to handle electronic prescribing, the percentage of providers who have adopted EHRs in each state, and how regional extension centers are faring in their quest to assist providers in implementing EHRs.
