Louisiana health department begins offering Medicaid EHR incentives

The Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals, through its new Medicaid EHR incentive program, will be one of the first states in the nation to provide incentive payments of more than $60,000 to Medicaid providers and hospitals for adopting, implementing or upgrading their EHRs.
