DirectTrust adds new members, continues 'steady growth'

DirectTrust continues to enjoy "steady" growth, adding eight new members to its network since the beginning of the year and bringing total membership to 146 organizations. The new members include health services providers, health IT companies, and companies providing healthcare-related mobile apps.

DirectTrust is a healthcare industry alliance created by and for participants in the network for secure interoperable exchange of personal health information between providers, and between providers and patients, to improve the coordination of care.
