Steven Merahn, MD, is a managing director at Thinkwell Group. At Thinkwell Health, Dr. Merahn is responsible for leading Thinkwell’s efforts to apply the principles and practices of experience design to specific client needs across the healthcare community. He serves as the lead executive and subject matter expert on all healthcare engagements, overseeing and facilitating client-service operations and working with internal stakeholders to identify and clarify goals and objectives and affirm the vision and value proposition of an engagement. He is a recognized thought leader in healthcare quality and performance management, population health management, and systems-based practice. He is a vocal advocate for the value of the ‘human factor’ in care delivery and health status improvement for both patients and communities, rooted in collaboration, systems innovation, and healthcare interaction design.
