Rose Meltzer covers health policy and IT for FierceHealthcare. Her areas of expertise include delivery system reform, Medicaid, and the interaction between state and federal policies. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University in 2018, completing her thesis on changes in coverage of preterm births following the enactment of the Affordable Care Act. As a graduate student, she interned with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Deloitte’s Center for Health Solutions. In her free time, she enjoys running throughout Washington, D.C., and cozying up with a book in a coffee shop. She is a proud native of Phoenix, which also means she loves trees, bodies of water, and seasons very much.
