Jerry is an acclaimed social entrepreneur and a nationally recognized expert, speaker, and author on health care including reform, Medicaid / SSI enrollment, social determinants of health, and health information technology. He is a board member and past president of the Healthcare Financial Management Association HFMA-MA-RI Chapter, an organization dedicated to improving financial management in healthcare. Jerry is also a board member of the MA Health Council, a non-profit group committed to improving public health; former treasurer of the MA Housing and Shelter Alliance, a public policy advocacy organization dedicated to ending homelessness through permanent residential solutions; and contributes support to Cardinal Cushing Centers, a school that helps people with intellectual and autism spectrum disabilities, including his fourteen year old daughter.
