Caesar Djavaherian, M.D., is co-founder and chief medical officer at Carbon Health. He is the founder of Direct Urgent Care, an urgent care network serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area since 2013, and joined Carbon Health with the merger of Direct Urgent Care in 2018. He began his medical career at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, The University Hospital of Columbia, and Weill Cornell Medicine, developing clinical skills in emergency medicine and serving as chief resident. He has also served as an instructor and physician lead for the Division of Emergency Medicine at the New York Academy of Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in biological sciences at Stanford University and graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
