Hospital CEO study looks at healthcare industry trends
Deloitte released the results of its 2005 Hospital CEO survey. The study, which is the consultancy's 10th, gives an interesting snapshot of healthcare industry trends. Two-thirds of CEOs report that Medicare billing accounts for more than 40 percent of their revenues, with the numbers expected to increase as the Medicare-eligible population grows.
