Zuckerman pledges $100 million to Sloan-Kettering
New York Daily News publisher Mort Zuckerman has pledged $100 million to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The donation is one of the largest ever to a U.S. hospital. The Chronicle of Philanthropy reports that the Sloan-Kettering endowment stands at $2 billion, trailing only Shriner's Hospital for Children in Tampa.
