In wake of octuplet birth, lawmkers consider embryo implantation limits
Comments
I completely agree with this. Especially Georgia. However there also needs to be a clause limiting the number of times a doctor will perform this procedure thus limiting the number of children a family has. There should be a national registry to show when women have conceived through IVF so doctors can trace them if they try to go elsewhere. This young lady has severe issues which I believe stem from her childhood.
A law limiting the number of children a family can have? Since when is that in line with the rights given to people living in a democratic nation? Allowing lawmakers to interfere with people's personal lives to such a degree is a dangerous game. And requiring people who have concieved through IVF to register themselves is a gross invasion of privacy. While I do not condone Nadya Suleman's irresponsible actions, it is not up to the government to regulate personal matters.
