Steward Health Care to run local Super Bowl ad

Steward Health Care System, the company Cerberus Capital Management created to run the six Caritas Christi hospitals, will join big-name Super Bowl advertisers like Budweiser and Kia with its 30-second commercial airing this Sunday on WFXT-TV in the Boston area, the Boston Globe reports. The move will introduce the healthcare company to customers who may not be aware of its existence. According to the newspaper, a 30-second ad spot on WFXT during the Super Bowl costs roughly $80,000. While Steward chief marketing officer Brian Carty would not divulge how much the system paid for its ad, he believes it will be enough to get the word out. "We are spending what it takes,'' he said.
