Wyoming mulls bills regulating health coverage
The Wyoming state Senate has approved two bills that could potentially change the way health insurance is written and administrated in the state. The bills would set detailed rules for whether a treatment qualifies as medically necessary, and would create an external review process for patients denied a procedure. It would also bar health plans from adding discretionary clauses to policies allowing them to deny coverage easily. Article
