SPOTLIGHT: VA provides $215M for rural care
The VA has set aside $215 million in funding to improve access to and quality of care for veterans living in rural areas. The funding is being doled out to 74 programs within the Veteran Health Administration program offices. The money should be used to establish new outpatient clinics, build collaborative relationships with federal and community partners, boost telemedicine and test out new technologies. Article
