SPOTLIGHT: Is pharma's future outside of drugs?

Here's a radical thought: Pharma's future may expand well beyond medications. A new report from PricewaterhouseCoopers suggests that to prepare for the pharma world of 2020, pharmaceutical companies should collaborate with non-drugmakers, especially on disease management programs. PwC is also suggesting that pharmas partner with other companies on "holistic solutions" (rather than narrowly-focused treatments) that offer more value to the company. FiercePharma
