SPOTLIGHT: Oregon launches EMR push

Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski appointed Jody Pettit, MD, to serve as Oregon's Health Information Technology Coordinator and said the state will ask for $26.4 million from Congress to fund electronic medical records programs.
