SPOTLIGHT: MA court lets accident victim sue physician

In a move which raises some brand-new liability issues, a Massachusetts court has ruled that a doctor can be sued over a car accident caused by his patient, who hit a 10-year-old while passed out at the wheel. The judges ruled that physician should have done a better job of informing the patient that his prescribed drugs could pose a driving risk.
