SPOTLIGHT: Game trains hospital managers on issues

A new board game developed by Johns Hopkins professor is giving hospital managers and board members a crash course in key administrative issues--and more importantly, how to resolve them. By playing "Friday Night at the ER," which takes place at fictional Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, players are given a chance to examine classic dilemmas like nursing and bed shortages and patient overflows without facing real consequences.
