SPOTLIGHT: Lucian Leape - Make safety a strategic priority

Lucian Leape would like to see hospitals put patient safety at the top of their 2010 strategic plans. Dr. Leape, co-author of the Institute of Medicine's groundbreaking "To Err Is Human" report, talks about the reasons that hospitals are slow to implement appropriate safety measures.
