SPOTLIGHT: Do insurers really want to see health reform?

Right now, many Americans would like to believe that all of the major stakeholders in the healthcare business have finally found some common ground on health reform. But at least one columnist--the Los Angeles Times' Michael Hiltzik--argues that this isn't true. He says that while the health insurance industry claims to favor universal health insurance, it still expects government to take on sick patients, lower provider fees, and give them permission to offer stripped-down policies with no premium limits in place.
